Recent Lilac Introductions
page updated January 16/ 2007
This page is to help the lilac enthusiasts become aware of new lilac introductions that have been made in the last few years. Some of these lilacs are repeat bloomers as others are traditional sized lilacs with either warm climate hardiness in mind or just new crosses that would be of interest to have in a collection. Unlike hostas or daylilies, lilacs take much longer to come to market and this can mean 15-20 years in some cases.
